Did you see it?? Did you??? The touch slider at WMC??

I saw it!!! It is real!!! *Happy Dance *

Um no. That was a plain old boring bulky thick slider. No visible one row keyboard, no retractable keyboard, and certainly not a "hybrid"!
Unless that "hybrid" was the unannounced "fourth" device of the "12 month road map"

    Quite un/likely though.

Perhaps but I'm not holding my breath. I need an upgrade and I need one NOW!

Not sure, but at least it's something along the line of touch and physical keyboard.

I thought it would be better than that slider... oh well. Apparently it has dual curved screens? Nice touch

    Visa/Victoria never existed.

Yeah where is the concept device or innovative device. Making a BB10 Torch 98xx with a useless Samsung curved screen and camera doesn't seem innovative at all. If Samsung didn't have their own curved screen device then this could maybe be seen as that, but with what it is it doesn't seem innovative at all. Innovative would be something BlackBerry developed not taking Samsung parts and making a Torch or putting three year old SoC's in a Leap.

It didn't look bulky to me. I think you are assuming just because it is reminiscent of the Torch slider in how it appears the mechanism works.

The slider is a full screen. What rule says that you have to use the physical keyboard?

the one in his right hand is going slide, his left hand could be the z50. looks like 5.2 inches to me. the slider looks like a 5 in screen, if that's the case, don't really need to z50 then.

The Passport Touch with rounded corners...it's seems to be the most logical reasoning.

Switch from a LCD screen to a super AMOLED screen to get even more battery life. Have a virtual Passport keyboard . Obviously the screen would be larger.

This would appease those who would want a high end touchscreen device.

Furthermore this would eliminate the need for a tablet.

Ahhhh....I forgot about the camera specs on the Passport. Thank you for that. I personally am not a fan of BB's cameras. Truthfully, its my only complaint about their phones. I am always caught in a focus issue no matter what setting I am utilizing. I have to take multiple pics to get one with no blur, or put it in burst mode, but then I'm stuck with all the excess pictures to fiddle with.
My Z10 did the same thing and I always had camera trouble with my old Bolds and Curves. The least troubling camera was on the 8900. Its still one of my most favorite devices to date for other various resons.

Still trying to dig up info on the purpose of the pivoting screen. It has me intrigued the most.
So far I am finding the Visa will sport a 5.2" screen and the Victoria a 5.5". Rumors, yes, but exciting for sure.

Why not get Samsung to help out with the camera software?
