Anybody have any ideas what rumored BB's are planned to be released as LTE devices by RIM through Big Red?

So far only the storm 3 has been rumored to be LTE. See any of the 50 threads that sprung up on S3 this week for more info.

I'm pretty sure the "R000" device number that has popped up before is an LTE version of the Bold 9000, with newer hardware and a trackpad.

Newer hardware? Didn't the Bold 9650 just drop? Or do you mean a 9000 size device?

I find it funny that everyone used to want their devices smaller but many people want that org bold sized device back. And with the Evo and the X the touch screens getting bigger these days.

Anything RIM releases to a carrier that will support LTE sometime around Christmas 2010 and soon after will most likely be LTE capable

Telus and Bell Canada have announced that they will be cooperating towards building a fourth generation (4G) LTE wireless broadband network in Canada. As a transitional measure, they are implementing 3G UMTS that went live in November 2009.

S3 has always been rumored to be LTE and should launch in Nov when VZW launches their 4G network.

I'm out of the loop here. Where did the "R000" appear? Site analytics?

It popped up a while ago. Someone noticed the slider in te app world download statistics and the copied text had the R000 device number and a "SpruceWoodMMC". No idea what that could be.

R000 is supposed to be the Storm 3's code name as off now. This one I'm not 100% sure off, someone here on the forums mentioned it before.

From the current evidence it does seem that way, but to me it makes more sense to go 9000->R000 and 95xx-> R5xx

I wouldnt mind this at all. I would rather things be delayed a bit so that everyone gets it right. Verizon/Telus/Bell and RIM. RIM needs this.
