    Have a look at 2014....

Middle - Blackberry Launched the Z3
Middle End - Blackbery Launched P'9983 & Passport
End Of Year - Blackberry Lanuched Classic

    my prediction for 2015...

Early Middle - Blackberry Launches the Leap
Middle End - Blackberry Launches P'9984 & Slider
End Of Year - Blackberry "qwerty Device"

Its basically just a pattern i have picked up. I may be completely wrong.
If that Qwerty device is a Classic form factor phone with Passport or better specs, I'll gladly pay for another BB phone for the third year straight...

Yes that's correct, BlackBerry have Planned 4 devices,

The first is the Leap, the second will be a combo release (1 month apart) This will be the "Slider" & "P'9984"

Later in the year there should be a "Qwerty Device" This could be absolutely anything. A Q5 upgrade a Q10 upgrade or a Passport 2

If they follow the theme of the road map from 2014 the focus will be :

    2014
    1. Affordable - Z3
    2. Classic - Classic
    3. Innovated - Passport
    4. Prestige - P'9983

We already know BB is quoted wanting to do something innovated each year and the Leap is within the affordable range. We also know a Porsche device is coming out again which would be the "P'9984", so far it lines up with the 2014 roadmap. It just leaves the "Classic" for the extra PKB device which may just be an upgraded Classic (duh). I think the Q series (Q10/5) have migrated to the Classic and they themselves are finished. All-in-all BB seems to be getting out of ambiguous numbers/letters in their branding so I think all Z-series and Q-series are done. In terms of PKB models I think the Classic, Passport, and this slider will be the only options but only the Classic falls under "Classic".... So in keeping with the same roadmap it should look something like this:

    2015
    1. Affordable - Leap
    2. Classic - PKB (upgraded Classic)
    3. Innovated - "Slider"
    4. Prestige - P'9984

I like your analysis, though it seems really early to even update the Classic...

I had no issues with the thickness of a 9810 phone. I would run in naked with a leather or soft pouch though.

Posted from a Z30. Get one!
I first read that as, "I would run naked with a leather, soft pouch thong."

    ...weird

Who knows. I would like to see 4 devices a year upgraded every two years. I think the industry is fatigued by constant upgrades and being unable to hold on to a "new" device for more that 1 year. I think bb would agree with this model as well and an upgraded classic before the passport is too soon. But we know this device will be a PKB so maybe it will be a rebranded Q10 or as I like to call em a "Beltless Classic". Or maybe a cheap PKB classic even though the classic is already a low end device.

Come to think about it i'd like to see an updated Q10. It is the smallest bb10 device on the market and if the classic is branded for the belt lovers then what about the people who don't want a belt and also don't want a phablet. Not to mention the classic has basically Q10 specs and considering it was released in late 2014 it is low end. A smaller PKB device with specs like the passport with touch keyboard would be great. Like a passport mini... maybe this is the "Visa"

I'm not sure why it needs high end specs when it runs perfectly well with the specs it has. The OS definitely doesn't need high end in order to run smoothly.

My Q10 can get laggy with android apps, BlackBerry assistant, since 3.1 windows open quick but the animation is choppy and it lags all the time opening things from the hub. It's nothing crazy but it could do for a boost. 2.1 was actually smoother, I can't complain because I love 3.1 but it isn't always smooth.

BB has the mid range devices. If you want a midrange PKB then there is the classic. It depends the market bb wants to focus on because regardless how amazing qnx is some people will never buy a mid range device.

My z30 is downright slow lately. Lags and freezes up regularly. I have a stock OS. I need more power.

Strange because I have a passport, Z10, Q5, Q10 and two Z30's. None of those problems. Although I have heard that low quality SD cards cause lag and freezing issues.

It is strange. It never used to happen. I'm going to do a wipe and not restore to see if that helps.

I definitely have a memory card issue. Can I ask what type you use? I have a 32 gb SanDisk "pixtor". It lags like crazy.

You want to purchase a class 10 or better memory card. They write at speeds of 10 MB/second.

Mine is a class 10, sorry, forgot to say. But yeah, you need class 10 for optimum performance, plus you can get up to 128gb that now works on 10.3.1

A slider that has the keyboard "slide off" would be pretty innovative and interesting.

Even more interesting... the "slide off" keyboard could be a Bluetooth keyboard!

    Posted via CB10
This would be THE fussiest phone ever made. Two batteries? Camera module on the keyboard half? Otherwise you take pictures with the keyboard slid out...

A removable keyboard is a headache and a half.

This sounds more suitable for an aftermarket case than a oob feature. You can get a keyboard like this already for the iphone. However it brings up a good point. BlackBerry is known for best in class Keyboards. Maybe they should make aftermarket BlackBerry keyboards for other phones or their own all touch devices. They are already doing this open approach with software why not with hardware as well.
