Ooh... that's steep... will wait for the official price but I believe it will be in the early 40k range.

Steep? Seems fairly priced compared to iPhone.

Even the current 6 and the outgoing 5S is considered a bit steep... though a lot of well to do will not think about the price, the middle class will think twice before investing on this one. I would. But then I am drawn to it like a moth to the flame. )

The price is exactly in line to what it's supposed to be. Not BlackBerrys fault for the high taxes and import fees. And the price of this device won't drop like the Z10.

BlackBerry should realize that nearly 50% of its revenue still comes from devices. If they are deliberately looking to reduce it by creating high end niche devices with which they want to get the customers and prosumers too then they know best. I believed that 43-45k INR would have been really good. APPLE can charge what they want because they have the market and is now considered an exclusive phone for the rich as well as the middle class. BlackBerry could have charged what they wanted a few years back, but if they want even a little traction in a price sensitive market and get more revenue from hardware then they should price accordingly....
