How about a 4.4in Screen size to replace the Z10 and 5.2in to replace the Z30. Both with higher specs to compete with other Manufacturers.

Honestly, idc what the next touch screen is. I just workable apps that done freeze crash and take forever to load like the android apps do. I really hope 10.3 clears this up but we will see.

No one but Apple and Sony put high end specs into a phone with less than a 5" display now a days. The market wants bigger and bigger phones which is why there was a shortage of iphone 6 Plus's when it launch. If BlackBerry did make another high end full touch phone I would be surprised if it had a screen size less than 5".

It's good to have large full touch slabs. But there is also a huge customer base that does not want huge phones. Those people that want smaller screened phones will most likely look at Android, because there's more of a variety to choose from. If BBRY wants to compete with this, and we know they can easily compete, they will have to release at least a new Z10 sized phone, perhaps a 4.4" for example, slightly taller than the original, with kick *** specs.
Along with 1 large high end and 1 large low/mid end phone.

This way they have inventory control and they have a portfolio of products people can choose from. It's not rocket science, people just need to know what a BB10 is. And it will sell well.

Z30 size is great. Update the specs, and refresh the look.

And as something different, the same size overall dimension phone as above, same spec, but with scroll out physical keyboard could be the hook that need for the buzz.

Agree. Update the z30 and don't forget to include the ATT LTE bands this time in the US!

    Agreed.
A Z30 refresh would be great. And my next upgrade.

I wonder if the iPhone strategy is good for BlackBerry: two devices, identical specs aside for screen size, or perhaps the larger device has a higher resolution display but the internals are the same?

With the 50 unit run of the gold Passport, the AT&T exclusive Passport, and the Porsche devices, could the same L-shaped motherboard with powerful cpu & Gpu not simply be installed in a housing with different sized screens? maybe the larger device could have a larger battery, or the battery is thinner to make the device correspondingly thinner.

It is apparent that BlackBerry has embraced their new 'jit' production method, so BlackBerry, here's your chance to give your customers some choice and be smarter about how you design, produce, and market devices. The Passport motherboard in a device with a 16x9 screen, but without the keyboard (and the OS tweaks that makes the OS aware that this is a touchscreen-only device) should not be a 'back to the drawing board' hardware design undertaking... so BlackBerry, you can get your powerful Phablet out there pretty quickly if you want.

I feel like when BlackBerry choose specs for a device, it's very carefully picked. So I would not be surprised at all if BlackBerry release a Z40 with the exact same specs as the passport. I'm talking same battery same camera ect.

Simply because the more you purchase of something the higher the discount.

Humm, a Z40? Never though about that one.
And yes the device motherboard does not change. It's the same size for any device. Just the external hardware changes. So yes a proposed Z40/50 can potentially have exact Passport specs.
On a business point of view, that would make sense. Because you will be buying the same internal products for 2 different devices.
