Hello - I love my BB Curve 8330 but am anxiously awaiting some new devices coming to Sprint. I'd skip the Tour for the Magnum. Anyone know what's coming and when?

I have an 8350i which uses the Nextel iden network. Will Rim ever come out with a hybrid that would use the Sprint for voice/data and the Nextel iden for the direct connect?

    BUMP...............

Im with ya evilbean. The tour just doesnt do that much more for me for the price. My curve works great. I have it fined tuned with all the apps I need It would have to be much different. If the price drops around x mas sure why not. Hopefully we get some details about something coming out around then... wifi trackpad. 3.2 camera(or better)

    we will see..

    I like the signature too.

I do love sprint.. for real

Great question. The Tour is tempting but I'd like to know what else might be on the horizon. Of course, it seems Sprint gets the shaft with new phones most of the time, so I partially feel like the Tour might be all Sprint gets for another year or two!

However, they are apparently releasing a WiFi Tour early next year, so that's at least one thing to wait for. The Onyx looks like the perfect BB, but sadly it's a GSM phone (at least for a year like the Curve).

Thanks for all the responses - I really do love Sprint - I have never had any problems with their service - it's just they don't have much of a variety. I'd love to see a touch/qwerty BB hit Sprint. I knew if someone knew anything about what was coming - it would be shared here!

I'm right there with you. My service has always been great and my plan is very cheap, but their phone selection generally just sucks. Luckily there's always at least one or two good ones, but not always the latest and greatest. Somehow I'm sure we'll get shafted on the touch/QWERTY device as well. As much as I'd like to think we'll get another new phone soon, I feel like the Tour is it for another year or two at least.

How about some real info instead of saying a "couple others". Which ones and how do you know?

I also wish that Sprint will get the Storm2, why not? I love Sprint also with no issues for almost 10 years, but the phone selection sucks.

I'd love to get a new storm with Sprint. I hate that devices are limited to specific carriers.
