I always wanted a Torch, and when the 9810 came to T-Mobile, I picked it up..

It was never advertised or marketed, but it was a great phone at the time, and was still running strong when I picked up my Z10 in March.

I agree with you. I had one too. The only problem I had with it was that the slider part became loose after a while to the point that if I had it in my hand I could feel the vibration from the slider while riding in the car or it was wobbly when typing on the virtual keyboard.

Other than that, I used it until the Z10 came out and I still have it for emergencies.

I had the 9800 and 9810 - LOVED that form factor... I would be seriously psyched if a BB10 slider came out!

I double agree with you, I still have my 9810 and love this form factor. While many would argue this is a niche market, I think BBRY should put this on their roadmap for early 2014 or something. I have always loved the Blade concept.

I was sitting in burgerking and some guy was standing with a BlackBerry 10 slider.

Looked like a z10 with q10 keyboard and a but thicker than q10

He had pins on the side so it was running 10.2

And it was 4 row like the z10

    Sorry no picture.

So you get close enough to the phone so that you can tell that it is running 10.2 but you can not describe the device any better than you have done ? Truly annoying.

I would pay full price for a slider with the new OS. No questions asked. Loved the old slider but she had to many issues.

    It is possible.
They said 6 devises this year:
    1. Z10
    2. Q10
    3. Q5
    4. THAT BBOS ONE
    5. A10 (OR WHATEVER THEY WILL CALL IT)
    6. slider

It could be #6 this year.
Personally, I think 6 is a bit much. Should be 2-3 max IMO.

Heck yeah, and in year 2, the BBOS phone goes away and is replaced with a tablet successor.

edit: Year 3, they shut BB10 operations down and sell it all to LG. [/bitter]

Omfg... *fingers crossed*. I had a 9800 before my 9900 and my z10. The slider concept was the best of both worlds. I never had any problem with the slider mechanism on mine.

Can't see this happening. There is virtually no market for a slider phone now-a-days. But BBRY is still making phones that have no business in the real world so with their mentality this could be possible.

I'm hoping for a slider to replace my Torch. I'd love the screen landscape with the benefits of the keyboard.

I wonder how many other Torch users are hoping for the same thing...

For now, my 2 year old Torch is still my go to phone.

Sliders can have problems and Blackberry does not need anymore. AT&T hates the day they decided to carry a Blackberry slider.
Had a torch for 2 years without any issues, it was bullet proof.

It would surprise me if they brought back the Milan and made it into a BB10 device to launch this year. The Milan was originally a 9860 with a keyboard. A couple of the carriers were involved in its conception but they all pulled out of its development citing 7.0 range becoming too big.

There was only ever a full touch, phablet and two qwertys in the BB10 lineup in 2013.

This phone is pretty real. I have seen THOR's son use a BB1O slider phone like this.. It did look like this phone from about 2 ft away. This kinda phone is very real!! I asked Thor's son about it casually and he said " it's a phone I was given by my dad to try but there is some glitches that need to be worked out in it". He did not hide the phone at all. Most probly don't know it's a BB1O phone... but I sure did lol

Also that being said it was a tester phone..it doesn't mean it will even reach production and it's not uncommon for companies to make prototypes to test first and then scrap later!!
