Here it is guys!! The file is kinda big, so I couldn't upload it here, I have a link though.
It is a large file so let it load and then it goes faster.
    Here's an image first.

I'd be interested. Haven't seen one that has been "lifelike" yet. Maybe BlackBerry will take the hint

Great job. I'm still unsure of the weight issues that a slider of this calibre would have. But good concept overall.

The idea is nice but I fear it would make the device to long, top heavy and prone to be dropped. The torch IMO was the limit to a portrait slider. I think the only was to make the Z series in to sliders would be in landscape.

Not sure I'd buy either though, I've moved on from a PKB and love the full Z touch .

I agree, all touch is awesome especially with the bb10 keyboard.

I'd like to see a slider too, if they can manage to get it thin and light, because that is the type of phone I wanted before I started hearing about bb10.

People want a keyboard, people want a touch, this is the best way to get both IMO.

It would really be cool if you could put it side by side with a Torch opening and closing.

Way too much work, but here's just an image of them side by side.

    Thanks for doing that.

I think it will look pretty much like the Milan prototype ( assuming it does see the light of day).
    Google Image Result for http://www.cellphonebeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/blackberry_milan_gkysg.jpg

or is that just a render as well ?

Having never used a Torch I am not sure how the additional length will affect typing. I think the designers can balance the phone though.

As opposed to the Q10 & Z10 , I think BB would show a silver chassis like the Z30, White Q10 and the 9900/ Torch. I think most CB's would prefer.

I think a lot of people are quick to judge what the size limit for a slider should be. I owned both 9800 and 9810 for a couple years, and with my size hands I can say those devices are still under the limit, by a fair margin. I can happily imagine a larger BB10 slider, and know that it will still be balanced and totally useable.

I think people forget that with any phone the majority of the weight comes from the battery, which essentially never moves position on a slider whether open or closed, leaving the bulk of the weight at the "base" of the device on the bottom. I never found the torch to be on the verge of tipping over when handling it.

Actually I just took notice that holding my Z10 right now, none of my fingers are supporting the back more than 2/3 up from the bottom, and it's not even close to feeling unbalanced.

Now I'm not saying a Galaxy Note sized slider would be great, but I definitely think that the Z10 would be a good reference size for one.

If you believe the rumors going around lately then the new Q30 will have a screen only slightly smaller (0.2 inches) smaller than the Z10 with a full QWERTY keyboard, so it will look very much like this. The big question I want to know is will it be a candybar style or a slider?
