Is that even Android OS? I don't think so. This definitely looks like some Asian knock-off of the Storm. Why the **** would you have a touchscreen but have a trackball at the bottom?? Guess they couldn't copy that technology...

as someone who has a touchscreen. having directional pad, scroll ball or trackpad makes a lot more sense to have than just the touchscreen. using just a touchscreen can be very inconvenient when your trying to one space back. it would be a lot easier with one of those things.

i am very disappointed the magnum does not have a trackpad or trackball. i will still get it as it is the only blackberry thats relevant. i hope the rumours of a front facing cam is also true. can anyone confirm this?

We've been told to expect this for field testing at AT&T in the first half of 2010...

I don't always believe that until I have mine in hand but that is what is being discussed in our lab these days...

That looks like a storm upper, with the 4 Storm buttons, and a Tour/Bold keyboard... definitely PhotoShop.

No its not I've seen the magnum and it looks very much like the 8520/8530 except that it has OS4.6 and a trackball which could have been the 1st idea which could have been the 8500 it probably was and I really want it so bad

I can confirm that the dakota has os 5.1, trackpad, and touchscreen. I i cannot personally confirm what the processor speed is but a co-worker told me it will be about 1.1 ghz. Apparently it will have a 7mp camera. Here is what i have gathered from what i know and from what i have been told by co-workers.

    Form: Bold 9000
    official name: Not yet known
    keying: Qwerty, touch, and pad
    flash: 512 mhz (512mb ram)
    processor: Approx 1.1 ghz
talk time: Up to 15 hours on 3g
    camera: 7mp autofocus
    thickness: Approx 10mm
design language: First of rim's new generation of phones

rim has been one of the worst companies when it comes to having the latest in technology. im extremely skeptical that this device will have a 7pm camera. and if it did id rather them dial that back down to 3.2 or something and add a front facing cam for video calling
