I wish the curve 9300 had the exact formfactor as the curve 8300 but with the trackpad. That phone was the most comfortable I ever held in my hand.

I couldn't agree more, i had to get rid of my 8900, had the 9700 but it had some problems now im stuck with the 8520, but i loved my 8900, and a trackpad and 3G would have made it perfect for me

A Bold with a Curve keyboard? That's been my dream bb forever. Suh-weet!

I've always found my Curve to be easier to type on then my Bold.
Who's the US carrier getting the 8980?

Given the model number, it seems unlikely that it is 3g which somewhat lends credence to that evolved edge idea somebody put forward earlier in the thread.

i think it will mostly be used for those carriers like digicel and lime in the Caribbean, where 3g is unheard of mostly and blackberries are not used vastly for a propose other than business users.

If released, what's the chances that AT&T will get this?
