I am using a 500 gb external harddrive to hold some files and stuff. And I have movies so I decided to watch them on my 360 yet I read the 360 only reads fat32. So I partitioned a 32gb area. But what if I have more than 32gb? How can I extend that drive?

I am also using vista on my main computer.

Your best bet would be to just attach the hard drive to a computer and stream the files to the 360 over the network. Its also that much easier to add or take off from the hard drive. Then you can reformat the drive as one big one instead of partitions.

Program called "fat32format", it will allow you to do a 500gb fat32 format, I did that for my PS3, well 320GB and it works.
