It is boring to say "give the 10.000.000 Post this or that". That leads to hundreds of spammy posts without sense just to have the chance to win something.

I think you should honor some important community members. here are some folks who are good known for helping others, posting interesting links, giving leaks, .... you know what I mean. Not the 'everyday user' but the ones who keeping everything alive.

My idea is:


The Knights Of CrackBerry!

- the CrackBerry Team starts as the Elders of CrackBerry
- the Elders are nominating new Knights every year (maybe a limited number per year)
- Once a Knight, Always a Knight!
- All Knights get invitations to come together once a year to celebrate BlackBerry & CrackBerry
- All Knights get special designed phones (BlackBerry should make a 'CrackBerry Limited Edition'! PIN should start with 'CBK' / '2CBK')
- The Knights are granted privilegs in the forums ( "with great power comes great responsibility")

I think that is a great idea and you can honor those who are doing very good work in theyr freetime to help making crackberry as awesome as it is. And maybe it is inspiring other users to be more active or to change theyr behaviour.

As I type this we're sitting at 9,955,331 Forum Posts.

Thinking back, I can still remember clearly the day that we setup the forum install on the site and James Falconer, Tom Kaminski, Remik Szul and myself were sitting at our computers looking at it with 0 threads and 0 posts.

Never would have I imagined we'd grow the CrackBerry forum community to 10 million forum posts. It's just 100% awesome.

You can love CrackBerry. You can hate CrackBerry. You can hate to love CrackBerry. You can even love to hate CrackBerry. But you sure as hell can't ignore this crazy, insane, fun, humorous, helpful, short-tempered and passionate community.

Now the question is... what should we do when we hit 10 million?!?!?!!

To me it would be really an honor to receive an example of every RIM, and BlackBerry, device as a prize...and this should come from BlackBerry. I have been a long time viewer, and an abuser...have had BB's since the 7250.

It would just be so cool ,and an honor, both ways...CB to the user community and BB and CB to the users.

Just my thought.

I have had a love hate relationship with the Blackberry brand, but I have always like the Crackberry community.

I have posted my good and bad opinions about OS10 on this site, but I have always respected everyone's views which is why I love this forum and the folks who contribute to it.

I think CB should have a custom z10,z30 or z20 made with an engraved back saying "10 Million Poster". Just a suggestion.
