If you're gonna do it, I think you should turn on device and media card encryption found in BB10 settings.

Use a complex password for your device.

Store pictures in an AES encrypted file wrapper app like this: Titan Files http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/37587892 and again use a very strong unique password.

I would NOT use my media card. I would use the device memory. That way you can wipe the device remotely in case it gets stolen. Media cards can be removed but having them encrypted gives a little more peace of mind.

And no, no clouds. Most of the free ones available to us are not encrypted end to end except tresorit.

This could be applied with any sensitive files not just a picture of your johnny. LOL

I would except Z30 camera is terrible indoor and low lighting situation. Not very flattering. I'll just have to wait for Passport and see if it's any better.

I'd never do it and I'll never trust the cloud with data I wouldn't be willing to share.

Why not? It's my phone. It should serve me the way I want it to.

Nope. I won't. Some people can even retrieve it even when it's been deleted from the device. An putting it on a cloud storage is just.. not very wise..

Question is, is Box and Dropbox secure ?
Because there is that feature on BB10 that automatically uploads the pictures taken with the device. This means that exactly the same thing could have happened to those celebrities, had they been using a BlackBerry.

Drop box is certainly not. Paid box has end to end encryption.

Sure! I take naked pictures with my BlackBerry all the time. The trick is not to take naked picture of yourself... then you'll be OK if someone hack your phone.
