worrying emails
I must admit this has nothing to do with blackberry but I'm not really signed to any forums and I.desperately need help. So for this I apologise. My issue you is that I received an email yesterday saying how I had just ordered 2 sim cards from lebara mobile. They were free so I wasn't charged anything it just said total: 00.00 it didn't have any card details listed but it had an address with my name and then a random location in wakefield. Which had.no relevance to me. I just put it down to a mistake but I have now got an email that it has been dispatched. So.. please. Any advice would be great. Once again I apologize for subject I'm just kinda scared and didn't want this.post to be lost on this.forum with.no.reply. and sorry for any spelling mistakes.and random full stops. I just got my new phone and I'm trying to get used to it!

Why are you worried about this?

Use the White Pages online and search for yourself or do a reverse lookup with the address. Maybe you can have a great conversation with yourself! Seriously, the reverse lookup thing may help you get to the bottom of it, it will often list landline numbers. It's odd someone else may have the same name but it gets weird when you, are getting emails about it. I would be curious to hear how things pan out. Keep us posted! ;)

It could also be a phishing scam to try and get you to pay shipping and handling for your "free" thingie.

I googled lebera mobile scams and got quite a few hits....
Google
I would not respond to them or give them ANY personal info!

It's not the fact that I should reply but if it means someone has my details. And are using them as even though it was for no cost they may still have used my credit card details to buy it. If that makes sense

Just like the emails I continue to get from supposedly UPS, FedEx etc. about my shipment/package I never ordered and am not expecting.
Spam/virus...............delete it..
