I'm baby sitting my niece and nephew tonight and have just had a bizarre conversation with them.

My nephew asks why women wear bra's, my niece replies its so they have somewhere to keep the mobile phones as dresses do not have pockets.

Naturally, I question where she came up with this answer and am told that her friends mother stores he phone in her bra while carrying their baby around.
My niece then goes on to try and demonstrate how I should do this using my BlackBerry.

I think that I have managed to put them both right on this now, but they prefer the other answer.

Saw a woman do exactly this at the mall today. I thought that was a handy location to keep a cell phone.

How does this even work? Under the strap? In the band? Does one need a Harvard-like endowment to ensure the phone doesn't fall out?

I have a vague memory of some girls doing this in university, but that was with the tiny dumbphones of yesteryear...though I guess they were fatter. The phones, not the girls.

You know how maximising bras work by pushing things up, and a squashing them together. If course how you get the phone out without flashing someone is anybody guess. Also how would you explain it if the phone was on vibrate. **giggles**
