What is it with Philadelphia sports fans? You people ran Mike Schmidt out of
town. Then Charles Barkley. Then Eric Lindros. Then Allen Iverson. And now
you've been screaming for Donovan McNabb's head for the past five years.

Do you guys not realize what nobody's the Eagles would be if it wasn't for this
guy? If he was washed up I would understand why you would want him out.
But the guy has at the very least a productive three years left. What is your
rush to let this guy go?

Personally, I hope he does get traded because I think that guy has put up
with so much unwarranted crap that Philly doesn't deserve to have him back.

I'm not a fan of D-Bag McNabb, but I do agree that without him, the Eagles would stink more than they already do. I hope he goes to a division rival and ends up ending Philly's season. Boo-yah.

out of there five years ago.

He seems like an alright guy, but there's just something about him that bugs me. I don't know. Dude, I miss Randall Cunningham.

Yup, so do I. I still can't believe the '98 Vikings didn't pull it off that year. It
    was theirs.

Just for the record, Mike Schmidt played his entire career in Philly, and was never ran off! There WAS one playful incedent with the fans where he was playing bad and getting booed and then he wore a wig on to the feild one day, and actually, brought the house down. He broke out of the slump soon after.

Besides maybe Bobby Clarke is THE most beloved Philly sports figure.

I think the cop was a little overzealous in his use of the taser. What would have happened if he caused a heart attack or something......

You guys do know that both "fans" where not from Philly right? The first guy was from Pottstown and the 2nd guy was from Warminster. Although the Phillies fans in the 2nd case were said to be chanting "Tase him!"

I think the worse fan offense, or the worse "meathead" offense to quote the OP was the "tase him" chant. It was sorta like when we threw the snow balls at Santa. Google it!

Ya, this one will go down as one of the worst... I work with a guy from Philly - they are serious hard core sports nuts. Its funny and sad all at the same time.

Philly is ruling the sports world now with the Phillies and the Flyers had a good run. Eagles cant get over the one-and-done playoffs. Keep this thread alive! Love the taser stuff - only in Philly.

Well I have to give credit where credit is due. At least Philly fans classed up a little
bit and cheered McNabb at pre-game. As they should have. Once the game started
and they booed him, that was perfectly fine. Just acknowledging him with a standing
ovation before was very, very nice to see.
