It's a tie for me. I'm average on both. :D
It's a tie for me. I'm average on both. :D
Because I own a Blackberry. Why would I go spend money on another phone?
When I tried it out, it was in portrait mode and it was super uncomfortable. I've tried both, though, and I didn't find it so easy either time. =/ I just find the touchscreen a bit uncomfortable to use.
Yeah, exactly. I have skinny fingers, though and I still had a hard time with it. I've tried it a couple of times, but it's always annoying for me. I just need a physical keyboard. I can't deal with the touchscreen. lol, yeah. Might as well do that! :p
Well, somebody has to develop the mindless time-wasting games for iPhone users... :p I'm a BlackBerry guy, but I design games for iOS. I think that says it all- bb is for the business savvy, iphone can be used for business as well but it has so many extras and it's such a fashion thing now that it's unappealing for me. Things are too cheery, colorful, cute, and simple for me on the iPhone. It's like a cult. I can't stand going in the Apple Store. People think that not being colorful and cute is something bad, well guess what- I don't give a sh*t.
Everyone I know who uses an iPhone has become a zombie, and a slave to it. And it's usually from playing stupid games, or taking a hundred dumb pictures. What a waste of life! I'm glad BlackBerry's don't have a million crappy soul-sucking apps to download. I just need my email, and maybe a internet browser, photo viewer every once and a while. I don't need the extras constantly though.
BlackBerry users are usually being more productive than iPhone users. It's the same damn story about Facebook, people are too scared to communicate face to face anymore. Blackberry users are a generation away from this mentality compared to iphone users.
I have an iphone, it's not unlocked (locked to rogers), my brother used to own it until he got the screen shattered, he forgot about it (HAHAHAHA!!!!!! SUCKER!!!!!!11111) and I got it wiped, few apps on it, tried my TELUS SIM in it... I'll be dammed, IT WORKED! (data and calling worked, even though it's not unlocked at all... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!??!)
I'll stick to my blackberry, it's what i'm more used to than a touch screen LOL

I've used everything (palm, wm, bb, ios, android). I could like the iphone if it wasn't for itunes and apple. Android is not a bad OS...has a lot of cool things in it. However, I keep finding myself coming back to BB. I had to ask myself, "Why? What is it that has made me ditch a 3gs and a high-end Android device?"
Two words...Form factor. I think I will forever be a physical keyboard guy. I've tried several different keyboards (swype, swiftkey) on my android device, but nothing compares to BB.
Beyond form factor, (in no special order): battery life, customized alerts, battery life, bedside mode, battery life, actual phone, ability to use a Bluetooth headset without having the phone plugged into a charger. Did I mention battery life? :)
I'm looking forward to seeing what rim comes up with this year and next!
new to blackberry! going to stick with it. Now cannot do without the physical keyboard
Since this thread has returned I'll update my original response. In May 2010 I did spend money on another phone. Two actually, I got BOGO for 9700 for $50 for TMO who worked hard to get met the best deal.
Why would I go through the aggravation of switching carriers, the added expense for 2 iPhones with constant call dropping on the worst network, who unfortunately now owns TMO.:(
Can't you have the best of BOTH worlds and get an ipod touch to go along with your BlackBerry? That's what I have! I just got a BB PlayBook too, plus I have a cheapie Android Tab too, so I have the best of 3 worlds!!!!!
