Facebook is currently testing a new digital assistant called "M".

Facebook M will sit within the social networks Facebook Messenger app, with people interacting with it using messages as if it were one of their friends. Take a look at how powerful it can be:

Not my thing. I use BlackBerry Assistant mainly because of the powerful universal search that is integrated into it

Facebook is a cesspool. I wouldn't have an account on there if they paid me.

I don't use Facebook either. I also don't use virtual assistants-- I turned mine off on my Q10 and haven't ever used it. I'm a light user though and don't go heavy with social media or large contact groups. I wonder if that makes a difference for people who choose to use virtual assistants.

It won't match the usefulness of the BlackBerry Assistant as it won't integrate the functions of your device. Even if it could, I wouldn't want it to.

When it works, BlackBerry Assistant is pretty solid. Our Facebook app, on the other hand... Well, there are plenty of threads about that already.

Not to be confused with FacesofMeth, which is a whole other horror you don't want to see or experience...
