I dont have it. but im asking. What can it do?
and how big is it?
It is much different than Windows 7.
I just installed Desktop Manager, had to go download .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 to get it to install
The boot times of Windows 8 is MUCH faster than Windows 7, not sure I like Metro Style, and the switching between settings really needs one to get used to using mouse gestures,
it is a 4GB download, and takes up 20GB of hard drive space to install, I'm giving it 50GB for playing
I tried downloading it at a the time it was released and with the amount of people also downloading it the download would stall and shut down. I've got it downloaded now and am going to put it on a second laptop I have, although I have created a virtual machine on my main computer and might try it on that.
I have to say I am NOT a big fan right now, I think if I was using it on a touchscreen device I would like it better, but I have never liked mouse gestures, and NEEDING them to go from desktop to Metro frustrating, and leaving menu's just isn't intuitive
