Moosehead , Sleamans honey brown , Pilsner are good for me but what is the best is have always found is any beer thats cold , open and one you didn't pay for
When i drink beer i stick to two mottos (both of which are stolen from other sources)
1) Life is to short to drink cheap beer
2) american beers are like having sex in a row boat. It's f__king close to water"

My favorite homebrew was a raspberry stout I made. Followed a Charlie Papazian recipe very closely except for subbing in some blackberries to cut the cost down some. The stout was not too fruity. The raspberry was more aroma. I cannot remember the hops I used. Perhaps Cascade. But the best part was it came in at about 8.5%-9% strong. Yummy!
I don't have the taste for beer, but lately I have been more tolerant of it. I think it is something I will learn to like a little more with age. But for now bring on the long island ice teas! A couple of those will get you feeeling right!
umm....turbo dog..... it's so tasty.... i have some in my beer fridge as we speak...

My folks live in Natchez, MS which is basically on the MS river, Abita Springs is about 30-45 minutes across the bridge.
Every August there's a bocce ball tournament in Natchez on the bluff (about 200 ft cliff above the river)... well, it's more like a bunch of drunk people throwing clay balls around, there's no scoring, they just call it a tournament.
Anyway, Abita sponors it every year along with a couple other small but upcoming breweries from Louisiana, all you can eat and drink for like $30.
Natty Ice and Bud Ice if I'm in the mood, but really I'll drink whatever's available...except maybe Guinness. Had some of that when I was 19...nasty as h*ll.
