Good call. I would say Keaton was an excellent bruce wayne..alongside with bale.

Clooney, on the other hand, was probably the worst imo.

In order of my personal favorites: Bale, Kilmer, Keaton, Clooney. But that's just me. I think Bale's Batman is the most believable and perhaps possible.

Keaton was the best bruce and batman overall, I think because he was able to add a bit of comedy to his role. I like his acting style more as well. My second favoirite is kilmer. With his personaliry he fit in great asboth batman and bruce. Next is Bale. He does good but I cannot stand how he changes his voice as batman. Clooney..... Let's not go there

We have to give Adam West credit(comical batman), The first TV batman and still in reruns today. Not many shows can boast that credit I know the topic was movie batmans but i just had to give the man his due...

Its really funny now that I'm older. I catch more of the jokes and possible adlibs they slid into the scripts. Got to hand it to Adam, he's still bankable especially his voice on some of the current primetime mature cartoons.

Bales Batman is my favorite. And I agree with most on Keaton's Bruce Wayne. But his Batman wasn't too shabby either.

I think Clooney's Batman would have been better with the current director at the helm. That one had Robin and Batgirl. There are so many things they could have done with that one. IMO, I think it got a little too campy.

I had to stop and try to remember Kilmer's Batman. Didn't it have the Riddler and TwoFace ? Which one had Danny Devido (sp?)

Honestly I have to go with Bale. Keaton was outstanding, but he didn't put off enough of that 'tortured soul' vibe that makes Batman do what he does.

And Danny Devito was the Penguin (alongside Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman) in Batman Returns, the second flick, also with Keaton.

Here's a bit of trivia: Can you name the actor that played the Penguin's father in Batman Returns? Try to not use the 'net to find it...

Keaton , Bale Blooney and then Kilmer...dang Joel Schumacher killed the franchise i am so glad it got going again.

The one think i like about Christopher Nolans Batman is he is getting back into the Darker Side of BAtman which Tim Burton did well...Thats why i like
    Keaton and Bale the best.
