Didn't like the pearl limitations. Tour is good stuff tho. Edit: Oh yeah, and the Pearl and I went swimming one day when I had to fish my 4 yr old out of a pool.

Reason: elaboration
got my pearl 8100 from my brother it was his warranty replacement and he just handed it over before opening the box, that was a year ago now rocking the 9700 and got my wife an 8520 that I manage as well. love these phone can imagine why it took me so long dealing with stupid phones. oh and after getting my 9700 handed the 8100 over to the other brother so i kind of manage that one too.
My work got me hooked several years ago on a 7290, and then later an 8700c (loved that 8700c), and then cut me off due to a budget cut and then I went without for 8 months till I got a BB again in Nov 08 when the Storm 1 came out and have now moved on to an S2.
Each one has impressed me. I went to my 8300 from a succession of Sony Ericsson P series phones from the P800 to the P990i and therefore found it very different.
I've been impressed by how each Blackberry has surpassed the one I've owned before it and yet how easy the transition has been each time.
I went from the Bold to the 8900 because I didn't use data much at all. As soon as I started I went back to it for the 3G. Oddly now on my 9550 I only get EDGE but I don't seem to be dying.. lol. I guess it's during the summer I tether a lot.. I suppose I'll pick up a 9700 for April then.
Oh, and the 8220 is crap. I have nothing better to say lol.
Upgraded from Motorola dumb phones: 8310 to 9000 to 9700. All are solid phones no junk in the bunch. I guess I picked up the first in 2007. Gave the 8310 to my friend and now she is a crackberry addict too.

One: the Pearl 8130. (physically, two: got it new, lost it then paid a mint for a used.*)
*er, didn't get insurance like I had some bleepin' sense.
Now I'm on the fence that separates the 8530 (can I live w/o the camera flash?) and the 9630 (still in trackball mode, although I have several to change into; the question is, am I mentally prepared to do surgery to clean or change the blasted thing? Hmm.).

Pearl 8130 (Exchanged before 30 days was up)
Curve 8330
Pearl Flip 8230 (bought on ebay)
Tour 9630 (Also bought on ebay)
And I'm due for my upgrade next week and will either go with the 8530 or a new 9630.
