Blackberry curve 8310. I got it for $9.99 lol. I was so surprised how much better it was than my Samsung Blackjack (that was more than $10) I fell in love, moved up to a Bold 9000 and finally now to my torch! BB FOR LIFE!

I'm using my first BB right now, a 8530, as a replacement for a Samsung Moment. After months of buggy software and daily resets, I really appreciate the simple stability of the BB. I love this phone. It does everything I want out of a smartphone & does it well with no hassles or glitches. I'm not up for renewal until March of next year, but I will definitely get the latest BB when I upgrade.

Nigh uncatchable Black Pearl 8100. I didn't go into the store to buy a Blackberry.

I'm so glad I stumbled on that little powerhouse.

    Never looked back!

Blackberry Curve 8900. I used it and abused it. But it's still alive and being used from one of my colleagues. Really amazing device.

I got a glimpse of the 8100 on AT&T when my wife got one for a job that they paid for. It was so much more complicated than what I was used to. That was about 6 years ago I think. I picked up a used 8130 on Verizon, and my addiction began.

    Since then, I have had the 8830, 8330, 9630, 9530, 9550, 9800 briefly and now my 9700.

1st) 15 and a week old (A year and 7 months ago) - Motorola Hint (I gave it to my mom)

2nd) 15 and 6 months or so - Blackberry Curve 8900 (Got my uncle to get it for me on Rogers)

3rd) Almost 16 - HTC G1 ( Worst decision of my life, traded my BB' with some Loser of Kijiji because I was bored with my BB' who ended up ripping me off. The phone barely worked that they gave me.) (Still have G1)

4th) A month before I was 16 - BB Pearl 8520 (Went to Rogers and said I didn't have my 8900 anymore and I had a one year warranty soo theey shipped me a refurbished flip.

5th) A month and a half ago. - Samsung S Fascinate ( Got a brand new sealed in the boz for super cheap because the person needed money. I got it cuz I was dealing with my old BB' flip for 6 months or so and it was horrible. I had come to performing battery resets daily just to get by. The phone was really laggy and would freeze up when I tried to text. I'm a super fast typer but I never did get used to the sure type keyboard. Sure I became the best on typing on it but I never did become comfortable after owning a full qwerty before.)

6th) About two weeks ago - BB' Bold 9780 (Although the Galaxy surpassed the flip in almost every way possible besides the battery life I found myself going back to my slow piece of crap flip and was never happier. I found myself worrying constantly about which apps are running in the background since I came close to using 80 % of my data plan even though I only was using the phone for two weeks and mostly on wifi. I NEVER and I stress never have I even came that close with a blackberry. So I knew I had to get the newest BB. I ended up selling my Galaxy and getting a brand new working BB Bold 9780 from someone. No regrets this time.)

So I learned a lesson through all this. You never really know what you have til it's gone. I do plan to keep this Bold for ATLEAST a year unless it ends up becoming a slow POS that I can't deal with.

So yeah that's my crazy story for ya

Back in 2009, got a 2 years old, very damaged 8310 as my 1st device and I was never happier with a damaged 320x240 screen and no BIS. Started making plans for an update then. Why did I get it? $30.

All you need to do is wipe and reload if it slows down to **** and battery pulls don't help at all, it could be apps too.

My First BlackBerry was the Bold 9000. Then after 11 months with it I decided to upgrade to the Bold 9650. And loving it. But before my Bold 9000 I had 48 phones in 5 or 6 yrs. And the longest phone that I've used is the Bold 9000 really love it. But I wanted more application memory so I decided to upgrade.
