I'm doing more albums lately then my normal work play list, so this AM I'll do a little Dave. I'm not sure what I'll do after lunch, but I may do Pumpkins in honor of InTheArmsOfSl33p...
Rapper's Delight - Sugar Hill Gang
Connected - Stereo MCs
Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Turn The Page - Metallica
All Summer Long - Kid Rock
Welcome to the Jungle - GNR
I Drink Alone - George Thorogood
Ok so dont laugh but it sounds wicked cool and I encourage people who like metal/hard rock to give 'em a try...
2 Albums on repeat "Eric the Red" and "Land" by Tyr. They are a "metal band" from the Faroe Islands... aka theyre vikings... how cool is that? Most songs are sung in english but some are sung in Faroese which sounds like what you would think a viking should sound like. totally awesome especially their rendition of Wild Rover.
I dusted off an actual 33 1/3 LP and am listening to Cat Stevens' Tea for the Tillerman. Turning my kids on to stuff I listened to when I was their age that doesn't get much airplay today. I am amazed the old Kenwood turntable still works.
