Other than the techno twank that is intertwined into it, the beat seemed to me to have some solidness to it, ...then the singing started. I stopped at just over the minute mark and didn't bother to skip forward sample for what might have been in the other 43 mins. For someone from slightly north of the centroid of southwestern Ontario, I might now have to adjust my previously assessed level of predicted respect.

:lol: Wow, I didn't think it would be loved, but wow. And it was one of their more commercial lps. Here's a more unvarnished recording from their early days. People don't change their minds, not really, but you seem a bright enough fellow so here's another chance.

I listened to all 4:32 of that one. I could see myself getting into it after a few beer at Crabby Joe's, or maybe a few concessions over at the Filly Farm watching the green carcass trucks (are they still green? ) go by to roll into town. The music sounds kind of interesting but I still don't fancy the singing.

Glad you enjoyed some of it. Funny about voices, you like them or you don't. I've even heard some people don't like Neil Young because of his voice. Go figure.
