I am working now and will be working tomorrow night so I will be sleep during the day and the family will be eating and having fun!
I'm cooking a turkey ... it's brining over night and then i add my other spices/ingredients, some sweet potatoes casserole, some sweet corn, and my wife is making mash potatoes
and just stay home all day
I'm going to Philly for a get together at my uncle's house. However; I won't be going there until the day after turkey day...it's ok; leftover turkey is fine with me. I'm simply looking forward to seeing the family; and spending some sorely missed time with them.
Just so I won't have work-related things that are due on Monday; looming over my head this weekend...I finished it tonight. Today; I'm going to sleep until my eyes awake naturally, do some laundry, pack for the weekend...and maybe before my flight leaves; do some early Black Friday shopping for my cute nieces and nephews...since I won't get to see a lot of them come Christmas time.

We're servin' up Cornish game hens stuffed with wild rice, roasted chantrell mushrooms, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce this year over at my mom's place. We had smoked oysters, imported Russian sardines, shrimp cocktail, Manzenilla olives and an imported cheese tray for appetizers.
Sucks that I don't get the kids this holiday (my ex and I trade holidays). I do get them on Christmas however, which is better in my opinion. :D
ok you can send some leftova's over here
I know the feeling 12, my kids are with me Christmas this year - we also alternate. But I picked my son up early to catch up some school work. First year of High School has been rough on him. Looks like a solid C for his first term, :o
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I'm not ready for it to be over, but the City of Denver has already lighted their Christmas decorations!
