    Lucas Oil USE IT!

Bosch Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plugs

Buy Quality after Market Oil Filters

Buy a Reusable Air Filter! the $50-$60 dollar price tag upfront seems like a lot, but really you change your filter every 10k miles, so in 300k miles that is 30 $10 dollar filters.. that don't offer the same performance.

Thanks for the tips! Speaking of...I just took it in for the 30,000 mile service and I got a list of things that needs to be done. Added up to $412. Is that normal?

    depends on the list.

I am not a Subaru person, I don't know what they require exactly. but post what they said that you need, what the costing is, and I'm sure you'll get some input.

as an FYI, I got a dying F150, I started using Lucas, IR Plugs, and after a bit of cleaning 75,000 miles later it is Still running,

Been one of my favorite vehicles to date and longest owned car I have had, lol! 5 years is a record for me. Bought it new and knew the day I took it off the lot it wasn't your typical Focus and especially after dumping a good grand in engine to shed a couple seconds....let's just say Mustangs from factory with v8's get surprised....wish I could get a tune to better implement gas mileage though. Only thing that sucks!

I've never owned or driven a Focus but I am a faithful viewer of Top Gear and they are huge fans of the Focus(s) over in Europe. Always ranked highly among the best in the class.

2 thumbs up on the Lucas. I can't run any other plugs but plain ole Autolites in my 02 Ranger. Fords lame 3.0 just doesn't seem to like anything else. I have to give my Ranger credit though, it's been a great truck. With almost 300k on the odo, I've only had to replace the radiator and rebuild the transmission. I also have an 89 Merkur XR4Ti - it's a garage queen in excellent condition with 17,103 miles on it.

I drive a vr4 making over 600hp at the wheels with 93 octane and on c16 over 800 with an aggressive tune, easily hit low/high 10's and high 9's at the 1/4. Will be trying to hit over 1000hp by summer.

Mods-way too many to list but the mains are 2 fully ported td05-18g turbos, forged internals, 1000cc injectors tuned with a greddy emanage, all the essentials to support it etc
