I feel your pain. I drive 50 miles a day for work and I use 1/4 tank per day....a Mustang GT was not meant for sitting in traffic, only for going FAST and I can't even do that, what with trying to conserve....

I got a super sweet deal on a real nice 2001 Lincoln Continental. Man is it nice. I love big American luxury cars. I love the way they just float over stuff... I don't really need/want speed but, it does have the mustang GT engine... 4.6L 32 valve InTech 275hp. It moves if it has to. Excellent car for the highway.

Great story! Sigh...I wish I was as lucky....I had to pay a 500.00 fine and almost had to do jail time (1 day for every mile over 90 - luckily it was only 93 and the judge that replaced the standing judge only gave jail time over 95 mph). I still received a R/D charge.

But actually I was picking on you since you have a mustang and I own a couple of it's "rivals".

I knew that - I get a lot of guys driving Chargers that want to "play" with me here, lol! It's fun, but I have to be careful because the police in my area now use a lot of unmarked vehicles, most of which are Mustangs and Chargers.
By the way, (and I'm not sure that you want to hear them being referred to this way) but your cars are beautiful.

Yes, it hurts, alright, but I consider myself lucky, still, because I had just made it through the "work-zone" where I would have gotten jail-time, 1000+ fine, and my license revoked in addition to the charge.
I need to find a track, too, so I can be free to let it all out of my system....

99 Honda Civic..Silver....quite economical for a college student...never had problems...and its excellent gas mileage...slightly over 300 miles per tank of gas....Someday I hope to have my beamer...but until then its the Civic.
