It's a 2002 with a 2000 T56, but even though the engine is 2002 the numbers on the intake and heads don't match what I've seen as identifiers for a LS6. I believe the cast number ends in 143

Hmmm...I know one of the two has a bulls-eye-like symbol on it, but I can't remember if it is the LS6 or LS1 intake that has it. My car is an '02, but I don't really feel like pulling it off to check. Are you keeping the stock gears in the rear-end? I heard RX-7s had 4.10s, is that true?

Manual is a 4.10, but automatics are 3.90. there are people out there that make rear subframes for Cobra rears. And those are unlimited in gears to choose from. i'm not at that stage, far from it.

My ride is a 2008 VW Jetta Sedan, tiptronic, hauls *** and it's a sedan but it's so COOL! It's graphite blue, sort of a bluish/gray metallic that looks different in the sun and shade and rain.

I love this car, I had an 01 Black Jetta for 7 years, there was no doubt I'd get another Jetta when the time came.....
