T-Mobile insurance woop woop it was a mess up they gave me 50% off any phone the bb curve was the newest phone so i went with it
I had a pearl before.........been through whew...........lots of phones since the late 80's (including the IPHONE which is garbage)......and now back to the Curve.......BB has the best support and for my needs is the most user friendly and DURABLE device...........my Son is on a Pearl and he JUST missed 10,000 texts last month............he usually is around 8,000 to 9,000 texts per month..........the BB is the ONLY phone that has held up to this use without imploding...........
My previous phones:
Ericsson T60d
Sony Ericsson T61d
Audiovox CDM-8450
Samsung SCH-A645
Nuff said.
Went to BB after years of Sony Ericsson SmartPhones .... P800, 900, 910i, P1i ... then the Pearl 8100 before it broke and I got an 8300 curve as a temp phone through work, and when it got returned to me it was a Pearl 8120 ... but I had gotten used to QWERTY so I stuck with the Curve 8300 then bought myself an 8320 SIM FREE so I am here now.... and although tried to break the crack habit ... I couldnt last a day !!
I work in a shop, so its very dusty ontop of alot of things to bump into. The way the clip held the treo the screen would be facing out, got tired of scratching screens. My then boss had a berry and I liked it better because email was faster and the keyboard. Years later im still using them, they can take some punishment! Matter of fact I just might order number 11 and 12 tonight.
I had already had a WM phone, the samsung blackjack. My battery on that phone didn't even last me an entire day! After switching to t-mobile, I decided I wanted another smartphone, but one with a better battery. I did some research, and fell in love with the blackberry curve :)!
I got tired of inputting things multiple times between my computer and phone. I also didn't want to carry both a PDA and a phone. I did some research and decided the 8330 Curve was the smartphone/PDA for me. Plus with Sprint's Simply Everthing plan I couldn't go wrong.

The battery on my Razor was going bad. I did lots of research on BB's, and knew I wanted a QWERTY keyboard. I was VERY happy when US Cellular finally got the Pearl!
It was just so sexy....
It was love at first sight!!
Then I did all the research and knew my first instinct was right!

i saw an acquaintance with the blackberry pearl and i just fell so in love with the sleek and sexy look that i decided i needed one right then and there! next day i had a bb pearl in hand. i later improved both my carrier and phone by switching to a verizon curve. c:
True story...
My first BB was the 7105t.
I got it because it was on Oprah's Favorite Things.
I always thought BB was for Business users only.
Now I have a BB Curve 8320, and I'm like a child on a treasure hunt discovering news things I can do on my BB!
The BB is just the BEST tool for organizing and melding my professional and personal lives...........I have used many other phones over the last 20 years and I cannot fathom ANYTHING but a BB in my hand......
My palm treo had me on the brink of insanity, just when I couldn't take it anymore I looked up and saw the curve on tv. The rest is crackberry history.
I was getting tired of my Razor & just went into the store to look around at the options...had been reading about the blackberries & was intrigued...then...picked up one & saw how easy it was to operate and started playing with it...then it was just fate..took it home & never looked back..love the color & how shiny & sexy it looks..just a neat little present I'd say...also the applications were great when thinking about using it for both work and for fun..worked out well for me.
I was sick of the Treo, looked online at AT&T's site when it was time for an upgrade, and saw the Pearl refurb for $50. I knew a few coworkers with BB's, so I went for it. Sooo glad I did.
My Nokia E62 was killing me (worst phone ever) and at the time
Cingular had a promotion for a brand new Pearl for $29.99.
Talked to my brother who has had a BB forever and went
with it. No looking back now.
I bought my blackberry so I could connect to my coporate email. I never realized how much more it could do until I bought it!
I needed a phone with a calendar to keep my personal life calendar from conflicting with my work calendar and I also needed to check my email while away from the office. After looking @ phones on line & in stores I went with the treo. Thankfully w/verizon I could trade within 30 days. Called cs and they told me to try the new curve 8330 and they also told me about crackberry and the rest is history.

It is my calendar, phone book, alarm clock, toy, and communication link. It's my everything wrapped up all in one. I never leave home with out it.
I have a small business and at first I was always at my desk with a computer then I started getting busy and I need to get a response off quick...........then it was love at first site.........log into my email, got a message from sprint the new 8330 is available...........I cried!
I needed something that was internet capable and had the email feature. I keep in touch with alot of people in my family via the internet. ITs so much easier to jump on the phone to check your email then buy the internet at a hotel or ask someone to use their computer if you are waiting for important information. I also couldnt stand the 10 key texting with my flip.
Edit:I also needed something to remind me of appointments and things I had to go to ... I stink at writing things on a calendar and remembering dates. So now I just put it in the phone and voila! it lets me know
AND NOW I cant put my BB down....its a serious addiction
