    Number of goals isn't the only catalyst to judge how good the player is, there are plenty more. About Messi isn't as good as I am thinking, what did I said about him? I only said that he can scores lots of goals even not in Barca, clearly in Argentina. YES, he did scored many goals for Argentina. At the age of just 26, he'd already has 35 goals. Will be more to come I am sure. Club and country level aren't the same. Let say for Leo Messi part, he played very well for Barca and scored lots of goals because his awareness/chemistry between other Barca players is higher than his national teammates. That's obvious for sure because he spent more times playing alongside his Barca teammates. So does C. Ronaldo. You'll keep saying this has nothing to do with other players, but hey, I just gave you an example. A clear example because for me, Ronaldo is the other best player in the world alongside Messi. Urm, I'm not hating any of these two players. They both are great players with their own styles.

    Well no. Number of goals would be a flawed standard if he was, say, a goalie. But he isn't. It's his job to score goals. That's the reason he's there. If he can't do that then well that gives a clear indicative of his skill. Goals is not a standard for all players, but for Messi that definitely would be.

    He did well scoring, didn't he? He is a new record holder for most goals scored in a single year, club and country goals total. He broke the previous record by Gerd Mller. What else?
