do you have any clue what that will do to the waiting line to get routine things done. I work for a imported auto center and we have customers from all over the globe , one of which is from russia and he said if Obama gets his way and we got to a socialist ran health care he is moving back to russia for better health care. the doctor my mom works for has said that if Obama gets his way he is going into retirement. a good friend of mine named greg is moving back to canada if it falls through · and think what it i will do to work morale when they start getting paid horrible numbers from uncle sam. I don't know about you but I want my doctor at the top of game

I'm one of the fortunate ones with good healthcare. But what about everyone else? So you would rather keep it the way its goin with people having to let their loved ones die cause they have no health insurance? I have a friend whose job doesn't offer affordable healthcare. She's diabetic and that could lead to heart failure. She has to quit her job so she can get DPW healthcare? Now what kind of crap is that?

what kind of crap is that my and uou tax dollars will give health care to people that are in the USA illegally and people who do not work nor pay taxes into the system. why should I pay for the health care of people that offer nothing to the system that supports them and their life of laziness. I have no problem with who work fourty / fifty / sixty hours a week that are paying into the system getting assisted health care but I have the problem with illegals and welfare abusers getting it . they get free cars free houses fee cell phone fee food as it is . so let me ask you why should I have to work if they get everything for free

why would anyone expect a federal government, with their marvelous track record on these programs, expect the very same mentality to efficiently handle your health care?

    Broke

    Billions in Debt

    Broke

And enforced with the power of the most successful terror organization on the planet?

Be careful what is wished for, the unintended consequences are quite unpleasant.

And if you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it's Free!

We kinda do that now. My girlfriend works at a drug and alcohol rehab center. She gets pissed off cause her clients get all kind of free stuff like you said. Housing, cars, education. I work everyday and I drive an 04 taurus. There are addicts at her job that drives 08's, 09's, even 2010 cars. So we are already paying for all that.

As bad is the death panel people.
This bill puts limits on the prices and makes it easier to get insurance. It also provides for you to buy care from the feds instead of a company.
    THERE IS NO FREE OPTION!!!!!

Mj, the problem isn't the welfare cheats, those on welfare - and it is two years and out, get health care. The people who don't get health care are the working poor, those unemployed by the current recession, and those like my brother a guy who has worked his whole life and never asked for anything - at least until he got cancer and was told he is going to die. Sooner without the care he has been reduced to begging for. Absolutely kick the illegals out - put their employers in jail and watch the jobs they do disappear. But remember, as Americans move in and take those jobs, they are jobs that do not offer insurance. I might have agreed with some about health care until I saw the nightmare my brother is facing. The most recent polls I have seen Canadians, English and French love their health care - all in the 90% range.

i think that obama should help the struggling WORKING Americans out instead of the ones that just sit on their *** and DO NOT TRY to contribute a damn thing to this society and eat up our tax dollars. The way I look at it is if you are so damn lazy and don't try to help yourself and then you get cancer, I don't think we should have to pay for your healthcare.

and as for illegals that come over here and don't pay **** into our taxes GET THE **** OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!

That's my point Amber, too many working poor don't have health care. They work harder and put off going to the doctor until they are seriously ill. Some say tax credits to buy insurance, lmao, they don't make enough to file anything but ez and wouldn't use a tax credit for health care anyway. We always seem to expect people like that to approach problems the way more educated people do. They don't, and no amount of you shoulds will make them.

The less expensive healthcare is, the more people will go for stupid little things that are really unnecessary.

Making healthcare more available and available for people who are high risk could eventually run the healthcare companies out of business, and they won't be in any sort of a position to offer services to anybody at that point.

Let's not even get started about how inefficient a government ran healthcare system would be. Everything related to the government is horribly inefficient. Even in Obama's example of UPS/FedEx vs the USPS. He made my point for me. Private companies tend to be significantly more efficient than government ran agencies.

Not going to argue about ObamaCare but it's pretty clear we need more licensed physicians in this country. More M.D.s = more supply which, in turn, will lead to lower prices, at least with respect to fees for services.

My point is this in a nut shell when you look at places that a socialist health care system the "waiting period" to get basic stuff done is 8-9 months long. I know a older man named Gordon that has GOOD health coverage via his employer and he is wait 12 months to have his knee replaced, now imange if everyone who had a bad knee or had a little pain and wanted their knee replace, that line might extend to 19- 24 months in a heart beat. We only have x amount of doctors in the country, and when EVERYone in the country wants something done or a check up - those lines fill up quick. And what about those of us that got our jobs because they offer health insurance - and the go to public health care - am I going to get that money that was paying for my health care in cash since Obama is making sure I'm healthy? And what about those people who have an emergancy and they have to wait for every Tom, sue, and harry to get out of the way. To me the best option is to have a free health care to those that want it and those of us that pay for it should get put in the front of the line.

Dude we live in America - there is no "personal responsibility" any more. Uncle sam has to baby sit us, its illeagel no not wear your seat beat in some states, some states have ban on smoking, they are wanting to take away our guys because people have no in intent of following the law, and use them to harm good people. I'll stop here. But you know I could go on.

Well I personally would like to know, would any health care plan, be better than the current plans run by the government?

There is the Military Health Plans.
The Veteran Health Plans and the Indian Nations Health Plan (or Native American Plans). Oh and can't forget SSI and Medicare.

Sure there should be something for all those that can't afford insurance, and so far I have been lucky enough to afford my health insurance.

My question would be, if my current insurance were to go away, and for whatever reason, was unable to pay for my own health insurance, and I could get care through any of the current gov medial plans, would I get the same level of care that I pay for now?

Well...if you're hella poor you might get SSI or Medicare.
Under this new plan you can get coverage if you lose yours, but I havn't read a teir list. This bill is long.

I don't care what any one says the lines to get in and are your doctor would go to a SEVERAL months maybe year waiting list and since the government would pay jack to the doctors their morale would go down the drain for working long hard hours and getting paid squat. if you look at canada which has a very similar heath plan that The Chosen One wants to out in place, and some of the canadians are coming to america to paid hard earned cash to get stuff done. the idea of government ran health care Scares the living crud out of me and people can only are the "golden finish line″ and cannot are the hot coals or broken glass laying in the track that you have to run through to get their. just like he promised no higher taxes - taxes on beer, smokes, roadway fee, and multiple other things went up and he promised no higher taxes . he is promising this will work it has not i repeat not!!! worked in other parts of the world so why should I expect it to work here broken words from a liar about a program that has a past record of not working and you rally think it will work?!?!?
