    It's dark here as a result of storms here in TN. I am sitting in the dark typing this with the help of the lighted keyboard of my Q10.....what to do in this world of internet connected everything? yeah I am online now but don't want to use too much of my data since I have less than a GB left for the next 18 days......

    Sit around wondering how much longer my battery will last,.. until my wife starts complaining, or we need to flush the toilets more than once (on a well),.. then I go to the garage, drag out the backup generator, fuel it up, fire it up, plug it in to the transfer switch, turn the power back on...

    I go back to the old days. Grab a board game, and play with whoever is in the house.

    Unless no one is home, then I just grab my phone and chat with friends. I have unlimited data after all.

    Also unless I'm in the shower and the power instantly dies, then I pretty much just scream in terror.
