I'm just kind of curious which careers support the BB as far as buying them for you? Do any require you to have them?

Oh so many "careers" here. Office Manager part time for a construction company on the weekdays. Phlebotomist on the weekends and whenever they need me. Student at night. And hunting guide during the fall months!

Im a mechanic for a trucking company.... so I dont actually need my bb. It sometimes can be more of a hindrance than anything else. Dont get me wrong, I love my BB Curve 8330 but having to wash my hands everytime i go to use the phone cause of the grease on my hands gets a little annoying sometimes, lol. But outside of work, its game on! I use it all the time. And when im not on my BB, Im on crackberry.com! (usually with my bb right beside me though)

I'm in the health care field, helping those devastated by mental illness. I spend a lot of time out of the office, and I like to be able to get my email without having to find a wi-fi hot spot, boot up the laptop, and so on. It is also an easy way to get into my deep book of contacts. I know just about everybody who matters in the area.

I'm an editor. Kitesurf Magazine is my rag, so is Powerkite Magazine too. I handle about fifty emails a day, plenty of calls, texts and FB messages. Before BB I used to get so behind, but now my reponses are like lightning.

I also use doccuments to go to write short articles and compile questions for interviews. I'll also download attachments from our designers and preview contributor stories and photos too.

I'm often at the beach or driving to it or on a trip either in the UK or abroad. My roaming data package keeps me in touch and online at no extra cost - I can be on a remote island and with the BB my office is in my pocket.

I use an 8310 and it's also stuffed with loads of music and films for those long lonely journeys. Today I bought a 7290 as back up and that's what I'm using to type this post

I do Security and also web design/graphic design. When the economy gets better and small businesses are more willing invest in the web work should pick up and ill feel more comfortable and secure doing design work only.

My BB helps so much with communicating with clients and allows me to get work done when I'm out of the office. And tether to update clients websites much faster well I'm out.
