Powder Wars (Paul Grimes)
No Country For Old Men (Cormac McCarthy)
The Road (Cormac McCarthy)
Adlen,
My man Cormac is THICK!... Blood Meridian took me about a month to finish off. Every line in that book is a poem. It is exquisite. I had never dealt with a piece of modern literature that brutal and beatiful at the same time. Enjoy.
I'm reading "The Color of Water (A black man tribute to his white mother)" by James McBride. Its actually a re-read its a great book. I love to read :)

I'm currently listening to The Running Mate by Joe Klein. My other books on deck to listen to are A Conversation with the Mann by John Ridley and Zadie Smith's White Teeth.
I'm currently reading (the old fashioned way) Dance of Death by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child and Robert Heinlein's For Us, the Living.
These are getting me excited for my next book purchase! :]
I am just finishing Chicken Soup for the Cat Lovers Soul....... I bought it to read on the way to Vegas, but it made me cry so I saved it for home..... LOL
Heh, I loved the entire Chicken Soup series!
Just finished - "Not a Games Person" - Julie Myerson.
Starting Anna Karenina by Tolstoy - I remember reading a few chapters in college & I wanna quench my curiosity.

I can't wait to read it but I'm not good at sitting down and reading, I only really do it when I'm in school :(
Dude, wait till you read some of the imagery in that book. It is straight OVER THE LINE. The barbaric of the wild west in full force. Seriously...I should read that thing again.
Friend of mine hooked it up with the NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN...but the book is so damn trendy right now that I am gonna have to wait a bit. Or if I am reading it in public, I will have to tear the cover off so I don't look like some sorta Academy Award fanboy.
"Biggest Brother: the life of Major **** Winters"
Have a number of books in the line up after this one

I'm re-reading "The Devil Wears Prada." I read this book at least twice a year (guess it's oneof my faves!) and puled it out now for when I need a break from final papers.
Signals and Systems (published in 2000 by some Germans) so that I can brush up my knowledge of electric engineering in order to publish my Digital TV Bible.
I'm gonna read it before I watch the movie. I always watch the movie after buying the book and then never touching it 'cause I know the end.
I have no idea what The Road is about, I just picked it up 'cause all the Cormacs were 3 for the price of 2 - picked up the 2 I needed to read n grabbed that one.
