forget plate tectonics for a second, what about the sick storm in NY that we just had. On some parts of long island there was recorded 70 mph winds, caused mass destruction, some power is still out from a couple of days ago, u drive around and it looks like there was just a battle fought on this land.
Woke me up too. Went right back to sleep. Big deal.
California typically has thousands of quakes every year, most are lower than 3.0 and not often felt. I remember being flipped out of bed like a flapjack once in the '70s. Glad I'm not there any more.
there are on average 4 earthquakes in a minute
theyve been some harder hitting ones lately
well 4.5 isnt bad, but they are letting us know more cause earthquakes are in the news
Go buy a helmet.
It is also that we are better able to detect them.
Hey fellow Crackberriean neighbor. Where do you live? I live in West Covina. I know I grabbed my BB as well but not for light, but rather to bbm family members

I'm moving to Canada next month. Trading earthquakes for snow and more snow LOL

I spent the first 5 or 6 years of my life in West Covina, in a house that backed up to an orange grove, since turned into a shopping center. I don't remember the street but my parents had a monthly mortgage payment of $86.00.
$86?! Wtf. Are we talking about the same west covina. Right now west covina mortgages are about 3000 or so..... Well I'm back in west covina and I like it. Lived in El Monte ( yuck). Baldwin Park (ugh) then west covina, to Phillips ranch and back to west covina.
