So my friend just purchased the 9700 and dudes going CRAZY on Uber about how great it is, he even said if he had a relationship going the Blackberry would ruin it because he pays so much attention to it. He also said he's been on it 14 hours on FB/Twitter and has 75% battery life left. I seriously have to test this battery out, unfortunately I'm a nobody so no one ever thinks to contact me, so Idk how I'll do that. But I will say the phone is great, the problems I have with the phone doesn't include the processor or specs or anything, which are..Flawless. Did I mention the 130 MB's of memory? Now it would **** me off if BB makes a better phone next month. That ALWAYS happens when I purchase a item that's the latest.

Oh , btw, my other friends mom bought a 9700 and hasn't put it down yet

Ahh, your other friend's name must be Stacy, because if her mom is sporting a new 9700, she's definitely "got it goin on."

Just got mine on Thursday... most likely the best model blackberry has ever released. Now i can finally use my BB without running memoryup like i used to on my 9000.

RIM made sure i didn't switch to an iphone, once again

i too agree. i had a 8900( which was an awesome phone too), but when the 9700 came out i had to go and buy one. sure i paid full retail for it due to the fact that i wasnt up for an upgrade. it was well worth the 400 i spent on it. cant put it down.

The 9700 is a great device, that's true. BUT I wouldn't trade my 9000 for it. I've owned a 9700 with my 9000 and did a battery pull on both of them. My Bold 9000 won the reboot with something like 15 seconds.
Keep in mind that I've been using my 9000 for 10 months and it's loaded with apps and themes. The 9700 was still scratch outta the box.

I do agree totally it's a great device, but the back door is extremely ugly. A 9000 form factor with a trackpad would be THE ultimate device (even though I'm fully satisfied with my 9000).

Well the 9000 only had about under 50MB's, which sucked because 3 apps and I was done. As well as the 2.0 Megapixel. Besides that, if it was on Tmobile I would buy it, if it had more memory. It is a good phone though in terms of size and 3G.

But the 9700 is great, while in church my friend bragged about his Tour 9630 and the camera it had, so I put my 9700 aside his and did a test. Guess whose came out way clearer? I won't state the obvious. I did like his keyboard however, but my phone blew his out in everything else. He swore up and down my 9700 had a 5.0 megapixel camera just from the quality lmaoo
