How you doing today Carol? You getting some much needed relaxation around the pool?
Sorry I missed you earlier, Wolf.
Relaxation? Yeah, I wish! Too much stuff to get caught up with. Besides...with you-know-who bbming me all day long, I never get to relax.

That's ok Carol, I understand catch up all to well. I wouldn't know anything about you know who, and the BBMing though.

I am sorry to hear about your sister. I had no idea. That can definately make it worse on a marriage as well if the couple doesn't figure out how to handle it correctly. I lost a child so I understand what it can do. It is hard for all involved.
Like the rest of us here though you seem to have used all the experiences to better yourself. It is hard to do that too. I regret none of mine either. I may be a little rough around the edges but it is part of who I am. Same as you.
You did good with what you had Kasi. I hope you are proud of that.

That's the way mine were. They couldn't talk to each other in a civil manner at all. I'm thankful that they finally did separate nd my younger sister won't have to go through as much as we did.
Thanks. Its been almost 5 years so I've come to terms with it. Some days it hits me hard though, like yesterday; it was her birthday. I think her death was the straw that broke the camel's back. For the longest time my dad would try to blame my mom, even though there was no way my mom could have caused her heart to fail.
I have. I don't ever want to end up like they did or put my kids through anything I went through.

I am glad you got a laugh Kasi! It is always nice to laugh.
You went through a ton of ****e for sure. There are a lot of similaritties in our upbringings. And the decision to not put your kids through the same is excellent. I try very hard not to do the same to mine.
Life experiences make us who we are. We can choose to be defeated or to let it make us stronger. I am glad you chose the latter.
