I awoke this morning not feeling so well, (maybe the kids stomach virus), but I still dragged myself to work. I had cases to do, patients to see and a case in the OR. I made it through the day and went straight home to crawl into bed.
I was standing my kitchen and heard this strange hissing noise. I open the cabinet under the sink and get a nice steady spray of water right to the face.
I rush outside to turn the water off.
As much as I wanted to ignore it....running water, flushing toilets and a shower seem much more important then my health at this point. lol
Turns out the water purifier sprung a leak. I head to Home Depot, and just my luck...THAT model has old attachments that will not fit the new models...which require me to learn plumbing 101 from the kind and patient gentleman helping me out.
I then go home and spend another hour cursing and saying ouch a lot.
Luckily, I don't give up easily and I finally fixed it, turned on the water...and it worked!
