I'd like to see waiting rooms banned altogether, since they don't seem to serve a real purpose and only dilute the useful content in the leaked/beta forum.

There's already a great waiting room out there. It's called life. Go outside, read a book, participate meaningfully in other discussions, do SOMETHING.

Awesome - though, they said that with OS 7, and then OS 7.1. Never came.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see theme - is only relating to dark or light, not a fully themed OS. Yep that's already on latest builds.

Not true. I once received (2010?) a Permanent infraction (not even suppossed to exist) from a now (retired) moderator for asking a question.

Here is the funny thing. If I want the OS early all I have to do is ask Kris, BUT I don't and you want to know why? I would rather they test it a bit first before I put it on my phone. Heck I don't even jump on it when it first hits either I want for the regular folks to give feedback also! I'm still on 1047!

well i understand that & even though i'm one of those that loads a new OS as soon as it drops, i only load those posted by kris and co. (because it's pre tested) i have nothing to lose really, the only data i restore are my contacts so if i happen to screw up anything it's no big deal
but bottom line, i understand what you say.

Let me see if I can wrap my mind around this logic. The person who complained about waiting room threads made a point of going into a waiting room thread to say what a waste of time they were and that he would not be contributing to them, all while contributing to the thread, instead of just ignoring it. Did I get that right? I think I'll log in to Android Central (or iMore or WPCentral) now and tell them I don't have an Android device, so they should not have any threads open that aren't of interest to me.

The "squircle" lives. Using 10.2.0.1047 with hybrid sideloads care of Wu-Wei. The best of both worlds. Greater battery life too
