No idea, don't have the OS, it's only been "spotted", seems people need a refresher as too what that means

If BlackBerry is planning to bring the Squircle back, BerryLeaks should leak it. Except for -1 users...they've enjoyed it the most with 1047 for so long!

Now that's awesome!! I was just saying to mecca that I had a feeling we are way behind with the leaks when I was reading Micheal clewley's channel, then this pops up btw kris do you know if settings menu have the same options? Black or white?

I for one like this and hopefully it will save the forum from some clutter. Now hopefully the nay-sayers will let this place be and the yay-sayers will join in to have some fun while they await the next big surprise.

Stitch, usually the bashing takes place when people repeatedly ask over and over again if the STL-1 is coming, or when they complain because the latest leak isn't available to them. It frustrates people because we have stated multiple times that we will release it for STL-1 if we have it. If it isn't released, it's simple because we don't have it. A lot of people (not on the team) also get tired scrolling through the repeated STL-1 posts and they will jump on it when it comes up yet again. Not saying it's right or wrong, just saying it as I see it. That being said, if you have other questions or statements about your beloved STL-1, I'm pretty sure people will treat you just as they would treat anyone else with questions.

speaking for myself, i don't nag or complain, i simply read and accept reality. (available for 100-1 or not)
but sometimes i have genuine questions about 100-1 and refrain from asking because i don't want to annoy anyone or get another infraction. (LOL)
anyways, i'm in the IT field so i understand WHY 100-1 users may be "left out", because of the availability factor of the files to you guys etc...

In watching some of the regulars around here, with their inside jokes and quirky-squircly little sayings, I am reminded of the crew over in the CB5000 thread. Some really good people in there, and some funny ish happening all the time. Plus, since right now it has almost 168,000 posts and is in the Rehab forum, the rules and standards are slightly more relaxed in there.

I only mention it because I think certain folks in this subforum would fit in perfectly with the banter and humor in that thread.

It wouldn't, because the Z10 uses an LCD screen. It works on the Q because of it's AMOLED display. Designing for OLED displays - BlackBerry Developer

For Z? Yes, it comes down to what someone prefers. Some people like the black theme over the white so this should give them what they want. For Q it does make a difference on battery life and the overall life of the display, but at least Q users who didn't like the black theme now also have a choice.

Indeed, it was designed for the Q10 as this device was promoted as the "work horse" device. Hence the larger battery and dark theme. I truly look forward to its return.

I do hope the squarecicle (apologies for speelling... wow, as if it's even really a word.. LOL). Anyways, I do hope it also makes a return, as it coupled with the dark theme makes the Q10 stand out as a phonominally sexy device.
