I would caution against choosing a field based on statistics (unless that field is statistics). I went into my program because grads were in high demand and made very good money. I was very good at it, and still am, but it never held my interest and my grades suffered because of it. I eventually dropped out and found work in an unrelated field.

I'd be a lot further in life had I studied in a field I enjoyed, instead of chasing after high-paying jobs.

What about business, is it one of the most sought programs a university has to offer?

Do something you at least have an interest in because this will be your career and you will earning a living from it for 40 years.

We all work to provide for ourselves so if you can be doing something you like that's worth an extra 10%, I love what I do as it gives me chances to travel and mainly work on my own with ample time outside which suits me down to the ground.

I would suggest that you decide on what career you want first and work from there.

    good luck

The OUAC used to publish a list of all programs and the grades required. Back when I was in HS...ages ago...the top programs by entry requirements were some of the engineering disciplines at Waterloo and commerce at Queens, which were both mid to high nineties.

I'm sure they still have that list, which would give you a sense of how competitive it is to get in, but not sure how useful that is.

This was a thing I was looking for, but I have no luck looking for it lol. I fear that many people would wanna enrol into the samw thing making university business programs more competitive and harder to get into. I was just wondering if business is one of those

Don't know much about business programs, but my friends from university spoke very highly of Schulich.

If you can't find it online, your high school guidance counsellor probably has a copy.

    I second that.

I worked in my chosen career for a few years before deciding to go to university as a mature student (I was 26 when I started). It was the best decision I made, as I was able to transfer my passion and work experience to my studies.

Do something you truly love and you'll never work a day in your life.

I second this. OP, don't go for a course of study unless YOU have a passion for that subject. It doesn't matter if it's popular or "might" get you a "good" job. If you don't like what you're doing, it isn't a "good" job - it just puts a paycheque in your pocket.
