Thought this might be interesting. A good chunk of my time is spent on kids activities. One of the more notable things that 2 of my daughters do is drag race. They race alcohol powered junior dragsters in the NHRA. They are 9 and 10. Attached is a photo of the older one's car. These are full on race cars and are certified for safety. The car in the photos runs about 75 mph in 8.9 secs in the 1/8 mile. I have some other photos of the second car I will post up later.
I've twirled baton for 15 years. I can twirl up to 4 efficiently and getting better at 5 everyday. Next year I am trying out for the feature twirler spot at university of south florida and hopefully I will get to twirl above my hero.
Tying up/duct-taping annoying friends on long road trips and leave them stranded in another state on the way home from concerts so I don't have to hear them sing... And can actually enjoy the ride home in quiet.. silence is golden/duct-tape is silver.
