I do believe kaka was being a smartyskirt Brian. Unlocking has always been allowed to my knowledge. Only way to travel overseas, and not pay roaming out the booty. At&t and T-Mo will after 90 days for free.

I wasn't being a smarty-skirt. The guy had his unlocking question answered, then asked about debranding; which CarrierUnlock said is not allowed to be discussed on the forum.

I get that it (the software to do it) is illegal but the guy could have told the poster that its something that isn't suggested you do, unless you are VERY familiar with the core workings of cell phone software. I've seen tons of threads discussing it. None tell you how to, or where to find the software (besides google), and those people were allowed to talk freely about the difficulty & possible consequences if attempted.

Morning everyone, greetings from rain soaked Alberta..had an awesome weekend only to get more rain today they say. Flood waters have dropped a little but still alot of water laying around the lower areas of the city. Oh heck we are safe, i am across the city...i didnt see a point myself in buying a home along a river that floods every 5 - 6 years or so, sure you have a beautiful view but..... There is a hyway that runs across Canada called the trans-canada, this week end a streach of that hyway was washed away in the flooding waters...i mean a good 20-30 foot chunk..gone. search you tube for Maple creek flood, Irvine flood, Medicne Hat flood thats all the cities and towns along the hyway that were affected..amazing amount of water.
On a good note, there have been no injuries report or deaths related to this....besides i have been busy with my phone adding apps and what nots.
