I shoot sporting clays all the time and even practice here on my property. I don't believe you need to do anything except pass a background check to buy a shotgun. You'll find your score goes up a lot when you use your own gun. Don't scrimp either - get a good over/under. It's a good investment because the good shotguns don't lose value. You can find a nice one for between $1000 and $1200.
Oh - it costs $35 a month to be a member at my Sporting Clays club - and $35 to shoot a round, 100 targets.

    Thanks for that vision! Barf.

No worries Chadski. It is as I thought - most states, including yours, do not have laws that prevent law abiding citizens from buying or owning guns. I think the only exceptions are some big cities, and those laws are about to change after the next 2 Amendment case is heard by the Supremes. Same ones who heard the DC case.

Hey everyone. This is just a quick drive-by since I randomly woke up. I have to get back to sleep now. Good night!

its only about an hour flight, they usually fly the helicopters out, then call when they are ready, and fly back to pgh, and i think they caught the arsonist that set those fires? but im not sure
Ah, ok. I don't know if they did or not, but we aren't going to worry about it. The fires stopped back in March.

Or just let us know when you'll be away. Well let ourselves in and have a party there anyway.
    Driveby!
Congrats on getting your own place kasi.

Chad, do you need a permit to own a shotgun, or to shoot clays?

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
Not in PA. The only thing you need a permit for is to carry. You do have to pass a background check to purchase a shotgun though.

here mom, take the bat and have fun hehe, mike, today was my first day ever shooting clays, then instructors said i hit 75% of my clays, which they said is amazing, i had so much fun doing and was so relaxed, i wanna do it all the time, im starting look into it, but i gotta save money up for a gun and stuff

Shooting clays is relaxing. There is a privately owned range out here that we go to every so often to shoot.
