Cool, I actually stayed in bed till sunrise. Have fun at work Chuck, er ex. May your bio's live long and prosper. It's Saturday, and the peacocks sound quite frisky this morning! Gonna be a beautiful day.
Peacocks! I haven't heard a peacock in the morning in decades - not since I left California.

Good morning ya'll! Yep, peacocks. I recorded for a while this morning, when I get done editing I'll post a mp3.
It's ok, I am able to get serious work done on Saturdays without the admin staff around bugging me or the million other little things I have to do during the week.

Ex, loving life. He's got all the crap unto himself.
I used to like to go in on Saturdays too. I got sooo much done. And usually it meant I didn't have to go in on Friday night.

I grew up next to these botanical gardens called the Arboretum, it's next to Santa Anita Racetrack, and their peacocks were all over our neighborhood. If you saw the movie Sea biscuit, they showed the hills behind Santa Anita - with the homes digitally removed, lol - we lived at the base of those hills.
Interesting fact, our oldest gelding is one quarter Thoroughbred, and he is related to Sea Biscuit and War Admiral.

I like going in when no one else is around too. If I get in around 6, I'll usually have at least an hour to actually focus.
Mike, sounds beautiful. I'm just outside downtown with at least a hundred peacocks in a few block radius. It's a local's tourist attraction.
Whatcha gonna do today weezy?
I don't get to trade days :(, I'm the boss so my hours are set and anything extra I do is unpaid - or considered part of my obligation as a member of management. I am not complaining, I have a great job. We never have enough trained people, anyone looking for a career field, consider water and wastewater treatment. Most community colleges have a water technology department, and we hire from those programs - often after someone has only completed a handful of courses - we just require them to finish because were a big plant. Smaller plants might not and once someone has a few years experience and has passed a couple certification exams, we'd hire them as well. Starting salaries are around 30 to 35K. My experienced plant operators who have C certifications make 50K (in Colo they go D to A),

How long to get to A, and what kind of salary could I expect then?
