Lol. Yes... Very patriotic... Cruises are cool too exelant :) If somebody pi$$es you off, you can throw them overboard and nobody would ever find out it was you :D Jk... Was on the QE2 like... 7, 8 years ago :p Sweet trip.
I can't wait for my red trackball and black trackball ring to arrive!
@ 12 thats gana look crazy nice wit ya berry
Lol, I want to do that too. Just going to wait till October so my 1 year warranty is gone anyhow.
*uses superfly pimp voice* He77 yeah brotha!!! Here's the links to what I'm getting...
Red trackball:
BlackBerry 81xx/82xx/83xx/88xx/89xx/90xx red/black trackball- Alcatel, 3G, NEC, Acer, Mobiado, Tools, Panasonic, HTC, Microsoft, Dopod/O2, Sam
Black ring:
BlackBerry 81xx/83xx/88xx black trackball ring- Tools, Microsoft, Mobiado, SonyEricsson, Accessories Store, LG, Dopod/O2, Samsun
What they don't know, wont hurt them. Removing and replacing a trackball takes like 5 seconds. Just keep the original setup, so if/when you ever have to return the device.
I've never removed the trackball. Doesn't it break some sort of prong inside when you do?
Only if you rip it out like a neanderthal.
ive changed mine several times and its simple
maybe its your lil fat fingers
Oh I see... Well I'm still new to them, I don't know what you can or can't do :p
Has anyone tried just using Dust-Off for trackball cleaning? Mine was sticking a little and just a few bursts of air seems to have made it a LOT smoother.

i use the compressed air aswell ...
and it does just fine ...i agree
You literally just pry the ring out with your thumbnail and pull the trackball assembly out (comes out in one piece). Then, replace TB assembly and put the ring back in (making sure the middle prong on the ring is facing the bottom of the TB housing). Check out this video noob...

I use "Clean Safe". Pretty much the same thing as Dust-Off.
jay his lee press ons might break ....
Baaaaa....hahahahaha!!!
I misunderstood this insult.... You been smoking coke, or you just been hanging around 1 2 many... That'll do that to ya :p

Trackballs are easy BS. Before I got my Jav and it's black trackball, I used to replace the white one on my 8320 Curve all the time because I hated it when it got dirty, haha.
Great minds think alike, Jay. I just ordered a red trackball from CNN myself! Did you see the purple one? I think I'm going to get a bunch of different colors, haha, and change them to match my moods.

Lol. I think I'll get a red one too. Mostly because I have a red phone.... Are they actually red, or is it someone soaking a bunch of white ones in fabric dye?
There's a trick you can do yourself, BS, take the trackball out and color the light any color you want and then put the white trackball back in. There you are, colored trackball.

Except my trackballs already black from all the use :p No light really gets through it :p
If you color your LED with a red sharpie, it'll just make your trackball pink. The ones that you buy are actually red trackballs. Besides, if you color your LED, you'll void your warranty for sure. The minute you try to clean the ink off of the LED, it'll leak down and dye the white backing behind the keyboard slots.
