That's a beautiful drive! Love the South! Rest often and stay safe!
Resting often isn't something I get the luxury of. Once that clock starts ticking it ends in 14 hours. But it's only about 8 hours of driving, which isn't even close to my maximum endurance. I'm a long rider.

Yes ma'am! It's nice to see it lively again.

I'll refrain from any comment about the drain. Just don't get any on those boots. Ok, I guess I didn't refrain after all.....

It was good not having to move out of it, for certain. I absolutely hate swapping trucks except when necessary. Especially after I finally got this one running right!

do you have a bed in the cabin? At least a catnap if you need it...

I drove by myself from L.A. to Virginia when we moved here, while Kev sold the house back home. Wonderful drive!!! Did it in five days. LOVED IT.

10 to 20 to 30 to 40 to 95 up to 495 to Greenway to 7 to the Leesburg area. Only later I found out there was 81!!!! But I loved the drive anyway....wouldn't have traded it. Of course, I'm sure your situation is different.

    Stay safe, though!

Comfy quarters and all. Two bunks, TV, microwave, portable loo and all. I'm closing in on 2.5 million miles driven, and still enjoy it, because every day is different. I don't suffer from boredom, and it has always suited me.

And for a long drive, try Rancho Cucamonga, California to Warwick, RI in 86 hours for the longest distance in a short time. Another long one was Cape Cod, Ma-San Luis Obispo, Ca with a 21 million dollar load that we had to park in a secure zone in each night.

You can definitely say that. Once healed, I felt 20+ years younger.

Less than two hours to our birthday.

Happy 4th ya'll! Keep the celebration safe, and may God bless you all. Canadians, blow up something French, just for craps and giggles
