I just got done shrinking Windows partition, creating new partition, downloading Ubuntu 10.04, burning ISO image and installing Ubuntu on new partition alongside Windows.

I'll be taking a Linux course in the fall, but I thought I would install it and play with it before then. I'm running Linux now.

It is very lightweight. It only uses 15 GB. I had no issues with drivers for peripheral devices. Sound worked fine. It includes the Firefox browser. I was able to share all my files with Windows and Linux. I will have more details once I use it more.

It is possible to download the ISO image, burn it to CD or USB and try it without actually installing it. Download | Ubuntu

Because they have to do more than just press a button to call me. I use dexknows and I can look up anything pretty easily. Then they never ask if I want anything??? A diff floor has asked me if I've wanted food but its always when I dont have any money. How are you doing? Sorry it took so long stupid work paperwork and people calling and hanging up and calling back again. I am way to tired to deal with this tonight.
