Purchasing has been turning the whole place into a clusterfriggle. The customers want us, but they have no choice. The decision makers didn't ask their opinion, or consult with any of them to comprehend the numbers they were looking at. They think they're going to save money. When the real numbers come in, it will be too late.

I think it was RIM. If it was the service my WAP browser wouldn't have been working either. That browser goes through T-Mobile, opposed to RIM's servers.



I don't have another phone to call them on. Plus, I think it was a RIM issue, not a carrier one. A few people I talk to from here were having the same problem at the same time last night and they're on other carriers.

It isn't a daily thing, but it feels like there is an outage almost every week. Usually I end up not even noticing them because I'm at work when they happen and I find out about it afterward.



Maybe. I was originally thinking about saving up for a different phone just so I could try something else out without completely giving up BlackBerry.

You know, we just had a similar scenario at my store. The owner of our restaraunt owns about 12 other stores. His ex-wife decided one day she would buy a $10,000 trash compactor for each store that one of her cousins or whatever stood to make thousands off of. Well, this company, Global Trash Solutions, is from Florida. We're in Iowa. How well do you think they designed these compactors to work in Iowa? Not very well. Needless to say, it's a huge pain in the **** for us, and nobody but the lady that ordered (who is a "snow bird" and is in Florida for the next 6 weeks) actually wants them, and she only does because it's "good for the environment". Ugh!
